CARRIS Band - 77 years serving music

During the months of October and November 2006 CARRIS parked in the Music Museum to put on display an evocative exhibition with the 77-year-old history of its music band.

The exhibition, which was organised by the Music Band of the members of the CARRIS Company with the scientific support of  the Music Museum,  included a set of materials, such as documents and photographs, and even instruments used in the Band during  the XXth century.

This exhibition intended to let know some of the daily life of the band, showing the role of this music association which contributed from the start for the promotion of the spirit and taste for music.

As long as the exhibition was on display in the Music Museum, several  specific didactic activities were done to promote music for the general public of all ages, namely with performances by the Music Band.
